Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E is an electric floor heating system that can also be used to heat walls – the perfect complement to our water-based Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM system. The heating wires are embedded directly in the uncoupling mat with the tile adhesive to ensure quick and efficient heat transfer. The thin-set system with its many flexible installation options offers optimal freedom for selecting the areas to be heated and guarantees precise heating and uncoupling. The low assembly height of Schlüter®-DITRA-HEAT makes it a perfect choice for retrofitting in existing structures.

Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E is designed for installation in walls and floors, where it is used for targeted surface heating. What's more, Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E offers additional functions that are indispensable for high-quality tile and stone coverings. Thus, the system protects floors against permeating moisture, prevents the transfer of cracks into the covering, and guarantees direct load transfer as well as neutralising uncoupling to keep your wall and floor coverings beautiful for a long time. Due to the crack-bridging properties of the DITRA-HEAT uncoupling mat, the heating system is suitable for use with critical substrates such as wood structures and green screeds.

The new Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-DUO is the right solution wherever heat is needed quickly and for a short time. For example, a highly responsive system with great efficiency is needed in a bathroom, which is only used at certain hours in the morning and at night. The system creates warm areas in defined comfort zones on short notice, for example in front of the vanity.

The additional, 2 mm fleece acts as a thermal barrier: the bulk (over 80%) of the heat is channeled directly toward the top into the floor covering in the heat-up phase, which makes the tangible heat effect much faster and energy-efficient.

Up to 13 dB impact sound insulation

The fleece component of the uncoupling mat not only improves the heat-up response, but also ensures a significant reduction in impact sound transfer: An independent testing Institute has confirmed an impact sound reduction of up to 13 dB for the uncoupling mat.
